Would that make a decent cheap upper for a 22 conversion? 1:9 for 22lr?

Between that and the cost of the conversion kit, you'd be at the price of a dedicated .22LR with a barrel sporting a proper twist rate.

I already have a conversion kit with 8 magazines and a spare complete lower with everything including stock.. That is why I'm kind of interested in this upper.
