Can't tell if it's gonna be cheaper until it finally comes out. But yeah it looks a lot like a cz75.

Why do you guys think it'll be cheaper.

They're probably modeling the price structure for these pistols based directly off Springfields model for the XD... i.e. import a low cost, decently built pistol, stamp their name on it, and charge you a couple of hundred $$$ extra.

I guess this is the new thing; established companies finding some cheap ass gun that nobody knows about from some shithole of a country, then importing it under some highspeed lowdrag sounding name like and markup the price 1000%.

First Springfield, now Armalite... who's next?

same basic materials.. the cyanide to do the tenifer process might cost a little though..

is austrian labor more expensive than croatian labor?

I know the HS2000's were selling for like $250 before springfield bought them out and slapped their name on it.. so even then they had to be making at least some profit..

Hmm I believe the Egyptians make some sort of 1911 knock off thats actually not a bad gun, sounds like a good candidate.

Every industry does this. Firearms aren't on to something new here.

Americans will pay for it, so they mark it up. Not 1/10000th of the people that bought an XD even knew what the hell a HS2000 was before Springfield adopted it.

Not bad looking, I did some looking around online and seen mixed reviews of it. But that's normal with almost any gun. Atleast they're not all bad reviews.
