Saw those last night kind of tempting, I picked up a bushy lower on the cheap awhile back, don't have any uppers anymore. I could squeeze more money out of the resale if I stuck one of them on it. :o

Yea I got back from going out last night and saw it, got real excited. This will be my first AR and I'm excited to hopefully be well under budget on it. More money for accessories

    According to Armalite:
"...all of our chrome lined barrels whether they're AR10's or M15's are NATO chambered (5.56 for the M15 and 7.62 for the AR10). Chrome lining is standard for all ArmaLite M15's and AR10's with the exception being SST barreled Tactical and NM rifles. SST barreled M15's have a WILDE chamber while the AR10T SST barreled rifle has a NATO chamber."

1 in 9 can shoot a wider variety of bullet weights accurately, moreso than 1 in 7 right?

I'll let you know how it works out when I get it, either way I should be able to sell it for the same or more if I dont like it.

As I recall, 1:9 will shoot up to either 62gr or 69gr accurately. Anything heavier and you should go with 1:8 or 1:7.

    i shot 82gr out of my 1:8 ar15 so i don't think you'll have a problem with any commercial ammo using a 1:9

Now that I finally ordered an upper, where should I order my mags from? Or BUIS or red-dot suggestions that wont break the bank? I've been out of the AR loop for awhile.

    Update:

They don't have the upper I wanted anymore. Not sure why they oversold them, seems stupid and avoidable. But they did offer me the other upper, only difference is it has the M203 profile barrel rather than plain.

    Same price, normally $500.00.

I think most other companies would've just told me to go fuck myself, so I'm still pretty pleased.
