$100, pretty freaking good deal.
I have one of the ST-15's. Now I just need an upper for it.
by the time I pay transfer fees and such, it costs about the same to go buy one at the local gun store
I'd go with this http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Superior_Arms_S-15_AR15_.223_Receiver.html
Have fun with that.
I'm waiting on a thomor lower.
I hate being broke.
Hate the logo too much
There's an Armalite lower at my local gun store for like $105 that I've been eyeballing.
I have no use for an AR though.
you'll have no use for an AR until they ban them. buy it, if only to resell at a later date.
theyre not banning anything
it'll be a good investment should a democrat be elected
Tempting, but my next AR will be 110% LMT.
They're banning everything
i was just talking about building a dedicated .22 ar
for 100 bucks I'd go with this (they've been on sale for 100 for months and months)
free laser engraving and if you send them an image if a format they can use they will do custom as well as what they have in stock as well. Try getting a quote as to what custom laser engraving will cost from spike.
I wouldn't buy from anvil arms again.
do you want to risk it?
I already have an AK, and 5.56 is too expensive anyway. Besides, I need a decent sidearm.
You have a bad experience with them?
I can't say it was a perfect transaction for me, Jon seems a good bit disorganized, they seem to have a QC problem with their supplier and UPS lost my lower for like a week and a half.
However once I got it, everything is in spec works properly and the laser engraving looks good.
I need to swing by Spikes and pick up a few lowers in preparation for election results.
I noticed they have several FFL's listed near me. Probably charge $25 or so. I guess I could just wait until the next gun show and try and get an LMT. Knowing my luck they won't even carry lowers.
ANy way to find out when a gun show will be in my area?
Will you be able to get one of their already offered laser engravings on the lower?
I did, perhaps I'll write it up in a while. There's another guy on THR who had a similar experience. I think the lower is fine but their service is the suck + a billionty.
Can an out of state resident purchase long guns in FL? I know here in TN they can, but just checking... My girlfriends grandparents live like 30 minutes from spikes, so if I'm down there this summer I'm going to pick a few more up
I have a spikes bullet marked lower now that I fucking love. I want to build my next rifle on one as well (SBR).
