Area behind ear just started swelling up...

    Some kind of infection? Lymph nodes? They can swell up if you get sick. Hurt to the touch?

    Doesn't hurt, has this tingly feeling. I don't feel sick at all, though this could be a precursor I guess. I beginning to kinda feel it in my throat as well, not as prominently as under the ear though.

    Looked it up on webmd and it said usually it's a result of a cold or sore throat. I have neither, so it's possible I'll get them soon?

    Went to student health.

    They told me it was a blocked up salivary gland as a result of dehydration. Told me to put a heat pack on and suck on sour candy.

    Listen to them. Drink water, lemon juice, anything and everything to get it going. I knew a guy who got a stone in his salivary gland and had a not-so-nice surgery to remove it.
