Are your squat and deadlift #s similar?

    No. My DL is significantly higher.

    Close to 100lbs difference.

    Yeah, my DL is a bit higher, but not by much.

    deadlift 405lbs x 1, 375 x 3

    low box squat 245 x 2


    big ass difference. I think anybody whose deadlift isn't much more than their squat must be 1/4 squatting. Unless we're talking Plers but then you have to factor in gear, stance, and all that stuff.

    DL 455, squat 405 so fairly close. The DL got there a lot faster though, I had to work for the squat. Interestingly though I have a feeling that my squat is going to surpass my DL at some point, I feel like I've topped out on it. I want to get to at least 500 though :hsd:

    i can probably dl 335 and squat about 245 right now for singles.

    Squat: 350x5
    DL: 350x5

    My squat has always been higher than my DL, it's just recently caught up.

    geared=squat is about 100-150 lbs more

    assuming you are doing a full squat your deadlift number is usually going to be higher than your squat by a good amount

    squat higher than DL most days. i think once and only once, my DL topped my squat.

    As stated by Drew, if you're lifting raw, most of you will deadlift around 100lbs more. Equipped, the opposite.
