The speakers on my laptop aren't very loud when I am playing music, but especially when I watch a movie. I am looking for some small speakers that will have decent sound but don't take up a lot of space. I want to spend less than $50 on the setup (or close).

I am currently looking at getting either:

Or this speaker and T-amp setup (the draw back to these is that the speakers are made to be put somewhere permanent):

Which is a better way to go...or other speakers that are better??

    Thanks!!

I've found AC3 audio from DVDs is naturally more quiet. I install the klite mega codec pack, and there's an option to boost AC3 volume. This has solved the "quiet dvd" problems for me.

I downloaded and changed the boost. I don't have any DVD's with me now but I'll try it out.

Does anyone else know whether those speakers are any good??
