Get yourself some real night-sights. Mepros or Trijicons

The Trijicons are a smaller more fine dot while the mepros tend to be larger

    or mabey this one...

Im going to have my CCW but I just dont think I could get used to this (or any other holster) tucked inside my pants.

So the only time I might carry is when i wear a jacket and then I will just use the holster in the post above. I guess the G19 isnt a good carry weapon anyway.

    Im so undecided!!!!! :o

I would try your local gun range. They will install them too.

    Night sights are a must

I'd get mepros personally. And a g19 should be just fine for concealed carry.

Do you have a gunbelt yet?

Yeah those are nice they are just so expensive. :o

I might just hold off for now. I dont want to spend too much money. I have a coupon for $10 off $100 @ sportsmansguide.com and with the holster plus a couple mags it was about $80 so I was trying to spend ~$20 more.

If you aren't going to get night sights, don't waste money on another set of standard sights. Just use what came with the gun til you can afford to buy good ones the first time.

Well I will have my CCW in a couple weeks. I want to have this so it is atlest semi-concealed if I wear a coat or something. I just dont think I could del with a in-pants holster.

I happen to like fiber sights, however, I don't use them because I question their durability. I have Trijicons on my Glock now and love them.

Sights to check out: Trijicon, Heinie, Wilson combat 463

A lil note on the meprolights.... I just got some for my g23 and the front blade wont fit in my fobus holster because its to tall, I know fobus is junk but i got it for free. I also got adjustable sights too so thats why the front blade is taller. I like meprolights i have them on my kimber and glock and I have a set on back order for my USP again adjustables.

Check with the guys at pistol-gear.com if you aren't sure of durability. Scott has them on all his comp guns. 2 years and 30k shots and no problems on a couple

Race guns are not the same as a carry gun.

You're right, a racegun will go though much more abuse than a carry gun :)

But then again, for many using the TruGlo Tritiums they are both their comp gun and carry gun. IDPA shooters love em since they work very well at night and on the range.
