or is there still a huge following for this?

starting to think an H22 powered 4th Gen Accord or 97-99 CL might be a fun daily.

I'm sure those people out there who are actually interested in performance are still doing every swap imaginable. Thank god though that the ricer-phase seems to be dying out (at least it is here in orlando). I can actually drive 2 miles without seeing 14 riced out civics. Now it's only 3 or 4 per city block. Improvement!

thats kind of the idea. stock reliability, dohc vtec magic, bit more power.

body will stay stock, maybe wheels, thats it.

Do it. its one of the easiest swaps to do, in comparision to other motors/chasis. And a h22 motor will be around 3k$ after everything installed :coold:

i was surprised how cheap the hasport adapter harness is. for $300 its not worth my time to do the wiring and possibly fuck it up.

why not just buy a prelude?....they weigh about the same, and no swapping required.

because i can't find any preludes that aren't ragged to shit.

not to mention it would be cooler to do the Accord, and I could have a 4 door if I wanted (yes, I'm aware I posted a coupe)

Those of you with swapped ones, did you do the swap yourself?

    How long did it take?

I drove my 4th gen h22 accord 200 miles daily and it was nothing but pure joy.
I have a 740 IL now and I actually miss the accord. But I still have a project accord with a swap to play around with.

It's one of the easiest swaps to do. Easily the biggest bang for the buck in the fun
    department.
