I so badly want an eames chair for a computer chair but i don't want to fork out money for genuine because i know i'll destroy it when i have to force my armrests to dig underneath the table edge. But i'm thinking a replica eames might be worth it for a good comfy computer chair. :dunno:

Hermann Miller makes the genuine ones. All others are knockoffs.

    I'd do it.

it would have to be like one of those bed rolly things that you eat breakfast in bed on where it comes over your lap

Nope, i actually meant the eames lounge chair for a computer chair.

Also with any desk it's the same thing, i have to adjust the height of the chair so my arms are at the right level for keyboard/mouse placement, but that means the keyboard holder is in the way to move my chair any further forward. If i adjust it higher so the armrests are above the desk then the arm placement is too high.

EDIT: Also every office chair i tried, except the one i'm using, doesn't have a lockable swing back mechanism. I mean it does but only in 2 positions :ugh:, what happened to the standard where i could lock it at any position i want.

Damage not seen on the photos, but a LOT of the fiber shit from the arm rests has scrapped off (on the inner sides).

Nope, never seen one in person but it looks the winner. It has lockable lean back and height adjustment levers right?

Tried it before, there's hinges underneath that'll just stop me from going deeper in. Also hands won't reach the keyboard/mouse comfortably so i have to raise the chair which brings me back to square 1.
