are heart-rate monitor watches accurate?

    polar stuff is pretty accurate. It comes with a chest strap so that its all telemetric. More accurate than the grips on the machines for sure.

    they better be for close to and above 100 bucks~ you seem to have a lot of money to spend on workout gear (re: underarmor) i wish i had the monies for those :wtc:

    Fuck underarmor... there's cheaper knock offs by Starter that are just as good. But hey! UA sponsers UFC, it must be the best.

    Also, Polar make a couple basic monitors, with chest straps, that work pretty well. I have the FS2 model, seems pretty accurate and it works with Lifefitness stationary bikes.

    Polar is legit. I used it for cycling, running, and even swimming. I don't remember which model I have but it's awesome.

    mine has the chest strap also. I really hate that strap when I run though.
