I never really take gatorade pwo but read from here that it's beneficial, should I still do it on a cut? And I know sweet potatos are high in natural sugars, should I cut them out?

As long as they fit into your diet then it's fine.

Almost everything is bad for a cut if it creates an surplus calorie over maintenance at the end of the day.

I avoid all simple sugars when cutting, so I'd cut the gatorade out. Sweet potatoes are <3 so you can keep them.

I stopped drinking gatorade when I found Powerade Zero. No calories and tastes 10x better. Sweetened with splenda. PWO only though, just to cut the sugar jitters.

say I'm around 10-12% but want to get to 7-8%...would it be ok to consume 2 scoops of gatorade powder mix for my PWO shake? If not, should I omit carbs for my PWO shake or substitute it with something else?

I crave a pepsi post-workout all the time.
I used to do this when I wasn't cutting..but now I've been avoiding it.

I remember eating that you want to avoid an insulin spike post-workout if losing weight..truth?

when gaining you are trying to be as anabolic as possible, cutting you want to be anti-catabolic. I would say you want insulin levels to be as consisent and as low as possible if your goal is weightloss, even post workout but go with whatever PUR says.

I always have half a scoop of gatorade pre and post workout. It would be kind of pointless if it didn't have any carbs in it wouldn't it :dunno:

Just take in less carbs somewhere else. As long as your macros are in line, keep drinking the gatorade post-workout.

speaking of carbs post workout, does this make waxy maize a bad idea post workout on a cut? I thought you WANT an insulin spike post workout to get the protein / carbs to your muscles faster regardless of bulking or cutting.

I'm cutting and my carb foods are oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potatoes & waxy maize.

gatorade = high fructose corn syrup = fail

No, you still need post workout carbs even when cutting.

stab it with the fork all over but rinse underwater then wrap it up (still wet), then proceed to nuke it.
