it seems like a lot of companies made them for this past winter.

    are they still 'in'?
or will they probably be in next year or was it just a fad?

never had a flannel, had my eye on them for a while though, I think I'll head to a goodwill store and find a nice one then get it tailored

I would have saved up for a 'higher end' shirt by flathead, sugarcane, etc, but I did a bit of reading and I came across this thread on sufu (http://supertalk.superfuture.com/showthread.php?t=48613&page=2) and seems to me that just finding one in my size and tailoring it will give me a great shirt, instead of spending 200 bucks on something that, according to that one guy, probably isn't even that great.

I can tell you right now Flathead shirts are amazing. The fall/winter line, so thick it's like a light jacket.

Plaid long sleeves are in for spring. Now match that with a deep-v, and you are gold.
