I know some here eat a bit more instead of the all-out "traditional" bulk. So...are bulk and cut phases the fastest way to lose fat and the fastest way to build muscle? Do you feel those techniques are out-of-date?

    :eek3:

I never did a bulk so i have no experience with this :o

It just kinda makes sense to me to go with a slow bulk. Don't overdo the calories or put on a few pounds per week.

That's impossible, if that were true it would take Ronnie and Jay 200yrs to build all that muscle :mamoru::mamoru:

There are a lot of "before" pics that I actually prefer over the "afters".
I would much rather walk around @ 8-10% with full muscle bellies than @ 5-6% looking over-vascular, dry and flat.
This case isn't so extreme though. He looks good in the after pic (compatively), I think that pose just makes him look retarded.

I like the 'before' look there far more, I have to say.

Well, that law doesn't apply once you start putting copious amounts of drugs into your body.

Yeah, they mention being natural and those limitations a lot of times in that article.

Also, that guy is leaner than 99% of F&N in his before shot.

This part cleared it up for me a little better. I was wondering about the difference between water retention and actual muscle build-up during bulks.

I guess the question now is if the article is a reputable source, and if there are other trusted sources that say otherwise :hs:

But we are talking about his muscle development and bodyfat percentages, not sexual attraction.

if i was going to start over again, i'd just eat around 3000 calories of decent food and ride that out as long as possible
