I've really just been reading The Walking Dead lately..

I haven't been keeping up with anything ever.

Well, they do try to scan just about everything in existence, so i'd say yes. Lots of good new comics come out recently.
    My favourite being Crossed :mamoru:

Gravel isn't exactly new, but you don't even have to read previous stuff to get the hang of it. There's also Doktor Sleepless (same guy as Gravel) that seems to be good. Another un-new one, but i always say is a must-read is The Boys. Simply awesome, and right up there at the top of fucked-up-shit-by-Gart-Ennis.

Depends on what kind of things you're into. A lot more non-superhero stuff that's just brilliant out these days.,

I might check out The Boys.

Claudio Sanchez (lead singer of Coheed) swears by that book as well as The Walking Dead.

New stuff? There's No Hero - Warren Ellis. Good premise and beginning so far. Get ready for some massively fucked up (but really good) visuals in issue 3.

Invincible's always a really good choice. There's a new series called Push, really good so far. They've got a movie version of it that'll be released soon.

dude seriously, the double page spreads were insane. Ellis always manages to find an artist with a really fucked up imagination.

Push really good? because the commercial for the movie makes it seem like jumper part 2, I shouldn't judge a movie compared its comic but fuck the movie makes me cringe.

    Fucking :werd:
My eyes wanted to puke from the visual ass-rape it was getting with a 40" dildo. Made me cringe at times, but seriously the artist should get a fucking sick-award for that shit. It really got to me.

A cool premise. I'll see if it's good enough to join the rare breed of physical copies i've got :o

Nah, so far it's all good. The first issue gets a good start, but it slowly gets better. I personally find the trailer actually good. And i know the movie can't be bad when it's got that black guy who's name i always forget. He was in Blood Diamond and The Island amongst others. But he always delivers in good movies.
It'll inevitably get compared to Heroes, but this is a movie version of the first season actually done right.

Astounding (or Astonishing, I forget the adjective) Wolf-Man is just starting up, and seems promising. Same guy who writes Walking Dead and Invincible.

Totally. Anyone who values art content as much as script should be reading this book. The dude's line work is so heavy and detailed in any ordinary frame. This particular issue is worth well above cover price, for the meat of the art alone. Christ, it can be looked at for hours.
