Are you an ARCH major?

I wish I would have caught Ken Yeang speak at school sometime, but he was never around. I look forward to them actually building the "Jumptown" tower in Portland...did he show that in the lecture?
So who else is an underpaid overworked architecture junky?
bump for how was it?

just went to a lecture by CVDB arquitectos from portugal on wed. was amazed at the quality of built work and competitions they had placed in/won for being such a small, relatively new firm. i am trying to get the images, as one of the principles is a guest critic in a graduate studio at UTA.
will share if i get
his plane was late coming from london, so the lecture was cancelled
he speaks here every semester though (he's actually part of the faculty, which i didn't know)... so, i'll catch him next semester
would you do me a favor and let me know when he comes next?
i may just have to make a trip down to check it out.
He might be rescheduled for next week. If not, I know for sure that he's talking next semester. I don't think the date has been set yet.
how's the architecture program at a&m stack up to UT?
