I just wanted to know your guy's preference. Cleaning Rod or Bore Snake.

And if you use a bore snake, do you use the ".22 rifle" bore snake?

i use a cleaning rod when i really want to get it clean, a bore snake when i don't really need to clean well. use anything .22 caliber w/ an AR.

I love my boresnakes. Have one for every caliber (or will..need a 7.62) and it makes cleaning so much easier.

95% of the time, it's all I need, but there are times (like this morning) where the snake just doesn't do enough. but that was with my mosquito

I use a boresnake after each range session, when my AR gets really dirty i'll break out my Otis cleaning kit.
