I really like the sun devil and the other billet lowers out there. That is if you were going to spend the extra bit of loot.

Lowers are all the same. The odds of getting an out-of-spec or "bad" one are pretty damn slim.

larue is making lowers now, but they are $250. :(

i've used several dpms lowers with no problems and a stag. that's as far as my pesonal experience goes.

  12. I saw something once where it explained who actually makes the lowers that are sold under different brands. It was funny, some of the most expensive lowers were made by the same company that also made the lowers that were the least expensive. For the most part, you're buying a name.

I'd buy any cheap one that has a good reputation and good customer service.

    I went with:

because I liked the logo, the deep black finish, and the fact that they have a good rep.

Pretty much though, pick whatever you like. They're all fairly close to identical.

Semi-agree. Lowers are the place to economize. I have shot the Cav Arms, Bushmaster, Colt, DPMS, Stag lowers and they all worked well.

Save your money for the upper.

i hear ya. but i'm a big hunter. i've got deer antlers and bear heads decorating my living room, so i dig the logo.

to each their own, i don't mind either way. :bigthumb:

just so more people get into EBR's, its all good. :)

Just used a mega upper & lower in my 6.8spc build. Probably going to pick up another pair for a SBR build.
