Starting to piece my AR together and I'm debating between which stock I'd like to use. Problem is I can only go off pictures I have. I don't have a clue where to start looking, what these stocks are called, or how much they may run me. Here are the ones I'm looking at:

Are there any ones similar to this for AR's? Or would one like this from a shotgun work?

OR should I just stick with a regular 6 position stock? Any good spots to buy with buffer tube/spring? Going to build the lower this year and get the upper whenever I get money.

Is that what brand it is?

I kinda like the stock in the first pic better :o Really depends on the price though, I want to keep the lower around 250.

Damn, nevermind that's a bit too much for my budget :wtc:

Any good recommendations for a 6 position stock w/ buffer tube?

that setup in the first pic the rifle in the back with the scope is an ai rifle, with that scope and setup its about 4-5k sitting right there.

Another question: Who makes a good flip up rear sight? I'm gonna build a flat top without an optic for the time being, but I want to be able to keep the Irons on when I do get a scope for it.

Yea it's too bad that it's so expensive. Link to the Magpul one? The Ace logo 6 pos. one looks to be alright for the price, but again I'm not sure what's normal. The Ace one is 62 with buffer tube/spring.

The one thomor posted was cheap but pretty ugly :mamoru:

whats your budget? If its not a lot you'll probably end up with a generic 6-pos stock. they're not bad, but they dont offer much more.

if you want to spend a little more, i would say magpul CTR (~$100). if you want to spend a lot: LMT SOPMOD (~$200) :hs:

they're both pricey, but really good quality.

When I get the upper I'm going to get a lightweight free float quad rail handgaurd as the only upgrade. Doing an A2 upper.

I think I've decided to just get a basic 6 pos stock for now. I'd like to keep this build around 900 but won't complain if it's a bit less. The upper I want is 600 with the free float, so I need to keep the lower under 300 which seems doable.
