All my brass looks like this out of my ar would you reload it I dont recall it doing it with any of my other brass but didnt really pay that much attention as I didnt reload it. Its also always right straight across the case from where the extractor grabs ahold of it so I figure its just whacking the upper when its coming out

  2. It is fine. Don't worry about it.

EDIT: Just make it a habit to inspect your cases for cracked necks when you reload.

Be more worried about overall case length and cracked walls.

Wow, that's some pretty shoddy looking brass.

I wouldn't use any that have dings or dents in the neck itself... most of the other stuff is fixed via resizing though.

What are you shooting that out of that it gets that beat up? My brass comes out of my Armalite without any issues or messing it up.

20" WOA SS, Chrome National Light Bolt Carrier upgraded extractor. Still need to tweak the gas block think its way overgassed right now bolt would sometimes not stay open on the last sho, plus it was throwing the brass about 12ft

I don't see anything at all wrong with that brass.

I have reloaded worse looking brass than that.

As far as I'm concerned, if it isn't split or has obvious base damage, reload up!

    Dents get fireformed out!
