interesting, but i've seen pics of people attach a picatinny rail to the bottom of a regular handgaurd, then attach whatever foregrip they want. thats what i was thinking of :dunno:

as someone who has put something on their m4 handguard that you screw down to keep it tight, you screw too hard and you will crack the handguard. The amount of tightness you want on a picatinny rail is the same I have for my bipod adapter and i could hear the handguard stress and I backed off.

thats why I suggested the above.

if i have a non-detachable magazine, i can basically do what i want, i.e. pistol grip, adjustable stock, flash hider, forward grip.

if have a detachable magazine, then all that goes out the window :hs: i'll be doing the bullet button configuration (which lets me *attach* a magazine, and detach it with *the use of a tool* :coold: )

i was thinking about what you said with screwing the rail to the hardgaurd; could it have cracked because of the quality of the handgaurd? i plan on getting CMMG m4 handgaurds with a double heat shield.
