I want to get a quad rail handguard for the AR. I was looking at this one from CTD. Its only $60... I know its not a true free float, but I dont care.

So what are your opinions? What is the difference between that and some of the ones I see that are like $200. Im not hard on my gun at all, so im not worried about it breaking or anything. :dunno:

Thanks I'll take a look at those.

Does anyone think I'd have any chance trading by bushmaster 20" upper for a 16" carbine upper???

Im wanting to convert my 20" Bushy to a 16" carbine with a flat top and quad rail handguard. I just priced out a....

    - 16" barrel (no handguards or anything, just barrel and sight)
    - CAR quad rail free float hand guard
    - Rail covers
    - STRIPPED upper reciever

    for $500 on RRA

Then I looked and they have a complete rifle kit for $640, less the stripped lower reciever. I could prolly just buy that, convert my AR and sell the extras for a atleast $140. I'd just have to buy a handguard and rear sight.

    for extras I would have....

    - 20" COMPLETE bushy upper
    - All trigger parts
    - 6 pos stock with buffertube/spring
    - pistol grip

Plus an extra mag, I'd keep that though :wiggle:. Think I could sell that stuff for $150? :dunno:

**EDIT** I DONT HAVE THIS STUFF RIGHT NOW.... I was just thinking about what I would have if I ended up buying the RRA kit.

oh, i'll paypal you $150 right now for those extras! but seriously, you could sell the complete bushy upper for prob around $400 depending on the parts. i'll buy the 6-pos stock, and trigger parts off of you right now. PM me a price.

I dont have the extras now, but if I ordered the RRA "complete" rifle kit those are what I would have. I was just thinking outl oud.

My inbox is full haha:rofl: prolly people wanting to buy that stuff at such a steal.
