I need a light for my AR. I am going to be using it for predator control around my farm.. I would like a front hand grip also. I have seen some that incorporate the two together, but I don't want to break the bank. Can you guys recommend me some. I don't care about it being a clone, and I don't need to scald the retinas off the critter I`m shooting at.

So I need a decent cheap light/ front grip combo or separate the two and thats almost as good for me.

    Thanks

Rico Alpha 9 is the only clone I know of, and it's hard to find, sometimes.

I'd just pick up a 1" flashlight mount, a G2 SureFire, pressure switch, and some VFG. It can be as cheap as 80ish, or as expensive as 130ish.

    Ends up looking like this.

TD grip, pressure switch, G2, and a 1" barrel mount.

an offset mount, pentagon light and whatever forgrip is probably the cheapest way to go. I haven't bought one yet but that's probably the rout I'll go. Can be done for < $150

Only pic I have of it, dealextreme led CR123a powered (brighter than my Surefire G2) mini alloy flashlight, and small rail attachment.

    $20

Go brag somewhere else. Not all of us can afford to spend more on our rig than a car.

Yeah, I know, because we all hate to possibly defend our lives with knock-off stuff that isn't practically guarenteed to work.

    Maybe finger crossing works. :x:

if they had a dog turd that fit the criteria that I am looking for I will put it on my gun.

I am not out to win a beauty contest or be taticool.

Its not going into BATTLE so as long as it can hold up to being tossed around in a truck/ATV/tractor and has a VFG/Decent Light/reasonably cheap. If I was ever to NEED a M900 be sure I would spend the money on one.
