Just ordered 4 of the new Magpul PMags for 56.60 shipped. Anybody else order these yet? I ordered them based on just watching them stand up to that Chevy truck driving over them haha.

Just remember while they're durable you have to keep that dust cover on them if you're going to store them loaded.

Magpul is selling plastic mags they call pmags. Thats what this thread is about. They come with a snap on dust cover. If you're going to keep the mags loaded you must also keep this snap on cover on them.

For what, to keep the rounds from spitting out or deforming the polymer?

The magpul ones look sexy but price wise I'll stick with tried and true USGI with cheap ass replacment parts.

Heh it makes me question if I want to buy them or not. Them seem like they'd be nice mags to stash for a rainy day, maybe not so hot for frequent use. Unless your mags get run over by trucks alot.

:werd: I dont plan on running over my mags with a truck anytime soon, and if i'm ever in a situation where one mag does get run over, i've probably got bigger things to worry about

They're not for people to go into harm's way.

According to Rich Fitzpatrick, the P-mags weren't designed to replace metal mags. Not yet, at least.
