Ok so I picked up these parts and am waiting 10 days for my lower:

    Stag Lower
Stag Upper with Front iron sights, and rail Model 5H

DPMS Panther Arms Lower reciever parts kit
    Mil-Spec Stock
    Prince 50
Forgot the 10 Round Mag brand.

So, what do you guys think, picked it up for about 950 out the door.

Also, what tips do you guys have for me in the build?

    Optics Choices?

Rear back up iron sights.... ?

I was thinking a rear backup might be a nice idea in addition to the red dot....

Or someone suggested a carry handle with a dot sight mounted to it.

Is it a 10 round body? C Products or Bushmaster most likely.

Not bad. We always pay more here in CA. I think I built my 20" for less though.

    LaRue, LMT, Troy BUIS

Carry handle mounts are usually too high unless you use one of those gooseneck mounts that place the optic in front of the carry handle. Not sure how reliable those are.

Although to late now if you already have the upper, you could of got that upper with rear BUIS included for like $35 extra.

    troy buis.

aimpoints and acogs are good :dunno: it depends on what you're doing with the rifle. and i wouldnt mount an optic to a detachable carry handle.

if you want optics AND irons, get a folding rear site. if you JUST want irons, get the LMT fixed rear sight.
