I picked up two things for my Bushmaster. I got a handgaurd set and a TangoDown forend grip.

The handguard is a Midwest Industries 4-rail setup.

    Here is the forend grip.

I opted for that handguard b/c I didn't like the idea of having to take the gun to a smith for a free floating setup. This is a bit cheaper and according to the reviews should be good. Anyone have a snap type setup like this vs the free floating setup? Did I do good? I didn't pick up any rail panel covers b/c I wasn't sure I'd need them.

How were they to install? Do you have any pics of your AR with them installed?

Nice AR. I won't be able to get that tool from bushmaster in time, so I guess I'll just have a friend help me out.

    thanks
look around online, probaly can find one cheaper and maybe even closer to your location.
but, with an extra set of hands,it shouldnt be too much of prob
also,i have the same vert grip.
youre going to want an extra set of hands and a rubber mallet, cuz they can be a bitch to get on

I wouldn't even use it that much. I did buy a castle nut wrench because it was cheaper than to have a smith do it once. :hs:
