Stupid question but I'm gonna probably be purchasing a new daypack (~1800ci) at some point after I take my boards this summer. My last one is going on 7 years + now and I use it everyday + lots of hikes, etc...an old school marmot talus.

If I purchase a new one I want something I can take to work :hsugh: (laptop, files, whatever) while wearing ACUs or ACUs/scrub top. But I would also like a pack that is usable in the field for personal use at least, not some faggoty ass north face with a 1" webbing for a hipbelt :ugh:. I know black and universal cam packs are permitted in most places, what about coyote brown/ME Brown or ME Green/foliage colors? I can't really see anything in AR 670-1 about it besides the part about wearing the pack on both shoulders etc. My google searching suggested that I should buy black if I want to be on teh safe side.

I believe it has to be all black (or digital camo), with no brand name logos or anything like that.

If you'd like, I can send you one of these bad boys for free:

The only authorized book bag is all black, or all acu (with no logos).

I saw some spc with a blue (high school-esq) book bag once. Yes, I corrected him.

I thought you could still carry bags like that they just had to be only over one shoulder or something retarded like that.

    Carried in hand.

Solid olive drab green, black or cammo is authorized to be worn over shoulder.

So black and uni camo are GTG. You sure about the OD green - dont think thats legit with the new acu, no? It would be cool if you could carry coyote brown/me green bags too, but it seems unlikely from posts on here...

Thanks, that would actually be cool. It looks like a much better bag than the paper thin, shitty zipper crap they gave me with the recruiting logo on it. :mamoru: How much is shipping? Flat rate box usps? :dunno:

How do you plan on doing that, it looks embroidered in, do they sell an acu patch of some sort you could just sew on over it?
