What are the best ways/techn. to take great shots of fish in aquariums? I know no flash, strong overhead light, but what else can I do to make my digital photos come out better?

    light, light and more light

Oh...and be careful of reflections. I use my D70 with a Sigma 70-300mm on a tripod, crank up the shutter speed and ISO.

Green water = too much food left rotting in the tank or too much sunlight

Yeah...I have an aquarium light. A few desk lamps + the light should work.
