    Aside from the extremely difficult lighting and thick glass that distorts the photos, these came out the best

    tight focal lengths and composition help deal with unfavorable circumstances

    always keep in mind what's in the background behind your subject...

    sometimes you just have to wait a few seconds or move a little to the side for the better shot

    great colors. I like the lion fish and the last jellyfish the best.

    Ok, I give...Those are awesome pics bro! Now, how the hell do you get such clear shots at that high of an ISO? If I shot anything above 400 it looks like the color was fulled with a 12pack of crayons.

    I'm using a Canon EF-S 17-85MM f/4-5.6 IS USM if that helps...

    Well, the D700's high ISO performance is pretty good.
