I have an application that has menus written in Italian. Does anyone know of any patch that could possibly change it to English?

Well, unless the .exe file has those menu items in plain text when you do a hex edit, you're screwed. So try hex editing the file first and see if you can see the menu items. Remember to use the same number of characters to replace. If you can, then it's a matter of just doing it manually since you'd have to combine a hex editor with an Italian->English dictionary and well good luck finding one of those.

Don't hex edit it. Use a Resource editor to change the menu's just get some sort of translator to translate the menu text for you. With a hex editor you run the risk of fucking the application up, and corrupting the EXE, with a Resource Editor you don't have that risk.
