Well what do you guys think has been apples best decisions as far as changes, products have been.

Id say going intel. I was VERY skeptical at first, even after buying one... i just couldnt understand why they would go from standing so proudly behind PPC and switch to x86/intel. However i couldnt be happier with my intel powered macbook. The ability to install windows is amazing to me, being that i am a college student this really gives me the versitility of having two machines. being able to work on windows programs when i have to, then go back to OS X when im done is so flawless and just is great!

I believe the best decision that Apple ever made was hiring Steve Jobs back.

It would have to be a combination of hiring Steve Jobs back, and releasing the iMac. Before the iMac Apple was doomed to die. Steve's insistence of releasing an affordable computer under the Apple brand breathed new life into the company.

I don't think Steve Jobs really counts...he's not really a product or marketing idea or anything. :dunno:

hiring steve jobs back was by far the best decision apple has ever made. with out him, Spindler and Amelio would have run the company right into the ground because they didnt know what to do. with out steve jobs, there is no iMac, there is no iPod, there is no iTunes, there is no iPhone (well, under the Apple brand at least haha) there would be no OS X. with out him, more than half of us would still be using windows/linux because OS Classic just wasn't as appealing, and wasn't nearly as powerful. steve jobs brought NeXT to the mac OS. he made apple what it is...

not to mention he co-founded the company, however that wasn't exactly an Apple decision.
