    Several apple Stores I went to recently were sold out of the 160GB and Amazon is sold out too of the 160's

    Is this good news:noes::noes:

    P.S. I'm glad I got mine (40GB a year ago + seagate 160 Perpendicular drive upgrade)

    Nice. I'd like to see the AppleTV succeed. If enough interest is shown they may add some more useful features.

    can you explain the perpendicular drive upgrade? Is it external and you just plug it in?

    You think they'll upgrade the Apple TV after just upgrading them with larger hard drives and a software update and just started shipping those recently?

    The apple Tv seems to run faster and movies/tv shows fast forward and rewind better.

    the hardware won't be upgraded for about 6 months, Even then, all they'll do is add a larger hard drive

    I just picked up a 40gb this weekend and I love it. Gotta bring down the prices on those rentals though. $5 for 24 hours (for HD) is a little ridiculous
