Apple Support fuckin hauls ass

    So yeah. I thought they owned until now.

    My Ipod isnt being reconized for some reasonon my mac, did all the troubleshooting tips on the net. So I call apple, my 90 day phone support is expired. Now W.T.F.!!!! :mad: They make me pay another like 60 for anotehr year of phone support, which I NEED to send it in even though I have like 8 months left on the warrenty... or I can buy the apple care BS.

    Okay, I should change the title to: Apple hauls ass at hiring polite CS Reps :hs:

    I just called again, to ask about it what the old rude bitch was saying.. if that crap was true and they said yes, although I could send it in by filling out a form on the net. I also remembered I have a 3 year best buy service plan on my ipod. Another thing that happened was the really nice guy that I spoke with the second time told me that he was going through a previous case that I still had opened with my keyboardon my ibook and he said since it was a part he could just send me that. The previous guy I spoke w/ about that issue said I'd have to send it in, and I couldnt afford to be without my ibook for a week, so I declined for the time being.

    it should say 'sucks ass' but yeah.. their support for the iPod blows. You get a one year warranty but you can't even call them after 90 days. :riaa:

    Thats cause they're in like, California, instead of like, Bangalore or Hyderabad. Turns out: it matters.

    yeah, and then after 6 months those faggots make you pay shipping back to them

    But support for the iBook and I'm assuming all stuff thats a bit more expensive, is quite a bit better. They pay for shipping for a whole year, there and back, 90 days phone support just like asking questions and shit, but if you call after the 90 days with a real problem they'll take it in and stuff

    you fix my problem genius..

    Mac wont reconzie iPod.

    Reset it like 5 times
    Reinstalled iPod Software
    Reinstalled iTunes
    Tried different USB Port
    Reset iBook

    you tried way too hard. i would have done a hardware reset, and reinstalled the firmware. if that didn't work, i'd take it to the apple store and tell them what i did, after they did the exact same thing they would exchange the busted ipod for a brand new one on the spot (if you were in warranty)

    fuck this phone support shit

    how do I doa hardware reset, and how do I reinstall firmware without it being reconized on my mac? :hsugh:
