My Powerbook has a bad memory slot and when they looked at it about 4 months ago they were charging a flat rate of $315. The $315 will cover ANYTHING they find wrong. So you could have a bad motherboard, keyboard, and hard drive and it would all be replaced for that price. Pretty sweet deal.

Just curious if this price has changed since it's been a few months. I could see Apple raising the price for Powerbook repair at time goes on.

Apple fixes the faulty ram slot issue on the G4 PB at no cost.

depends. only if it was purchased within the last three years, otherwise good luck. Pretty sure the price is still the same.

Last I checked your machine had to fall under a certain serial number range. Unfortunately mine isn't in that range.

PLEASE tell me their lower ram slot repair specs have changed. :x:

    Edit: Nope. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303173 :(
