Apple Mail comes with the PC, works great for me and integrates with iCal, which I use quite a bit.

So why switch? I'll keep my MS products at work, kthxbye.

    Gmail?

Question: What is the point of Apple Mail, etc when you can just use a site like gmail? I don't understand...

Why not just use Apple Mail with Gmail? I use it to have all my accounts in one program plus the extra features.

Yup, you don't have to go to their website to access your mail and input your username and password everytime. Mail downloads all your mail from all your accounts, just one program to access all your mail. Of course it has to be IMAP or POP3 or something like that.

Can you BCC with mail.app? I use mail.app on my Mac and Outlook 2007 on PC.

 I like the sound of that.

So you could register a bunch of different gmail/hotmail/yahoo/whatever accounts and Apple Mail gets them all?
