First off im not an apple guy but am curious about something.

I read that the FSB of the G5 is 1.25GHz, but only uses pc3200 ram? so how is this possible?
Is it similar to Pentium 4s being quad-pumped? but actually 6.25X ? :ugh:

it just isn't making sense to me.

    Enlighen me please.

The FSB on the Power Macs are 1/2 the speed of the processor. So a 2.0 Ghz machine (Like the one I use at work) has a FSB of 1.0 Ghz. Only the 2.5 Ghz has the 1.25 Ghz FSB. The iMac however has a FSB that is 1/3 the speed of the processor. The 1.8 Ghz has a 600 Mhz FSB.
