Apparently LS1's are disposable engines only built to last 100k miles

    Becuase I beat the fuck out of it and it was still under warranty :embd:

    Fixed. Most appliance makers, auto makers, tv makers, hell even light bulb makers are like this. If they wanted they could make a lightbulb that would last your lifetime and put out good light. But they cant make more money on resales like that.

    seen lots of guys with very very high milage ls1's that are still running them at the track. We got 80k on he ls1 t/a and my dad has well into 100k on his LS1 Sierra

    Car manufacturer's don't necessarily want to make an end-all machine that you can own for decades and never have dated technology
