I always see them in the gym, so who has a good example that I can use for myself?
a checklist for like.... your routine?
yeah. I've never looked at one. What kinda data should be on it? Do I just write the exercise, then check it, or should there be more data there? I've never seen an example of one.
for mine i just scribble in the weight i started with, and the weight i ended with. usualy i'll do same increment increases in weight so i know what i did for each set.
i jot down the exercise under the muscle group catergory (IE: thighs/biceps, chest/tri, etc), state whether its barbell, dumbbell, smith, etc. and do 3 sets of 5 for each. sometimes i alternate it for the heavy lifts (deadlift/squat/bench)
_ big ass fucking weight
Usually you should have the number of sets, the number reps and the weight. And since you will probably switch the number of reps and weight between sets, you will want to have enough room to write all that./
