For those using a Mac.. which one would you go for? I'm mainly needing something for heavy workflow and ease of use but, great results.

Right now I am using Aperture and not really liking it. Pro's Con's??

LR user here. I mainly like using it due to the fact that there's pretty much seamless integration into PS. Haven't tried Aperture, though.

Lightroom just feels solid and flows right into PS beautifully. Right now I say LR is just better than Aperture, but LR2 is going to put it significantly ahead because of the preservation of PS layers right in the app as well as refining and adding a ton of tools that'll make you have to open PS even less.

I use LR. I havent used anything else since I got into this hobby. Easy and user friendly.

the only reason to use aperture is it's super-awesome tethering ability.

It's workflow and all of that is pretty lackluster.

I'm a LR man but as far as I remember from playing with it on a mac, Aperture would run smoother.

If that doesn't matter, then I'd prob. go with LR

i've used both and currently use Aperture. My only issue with it is I find the clone tool very bulky and unhelpful. I don't remember much from Lightroom though as it was probably the first version. I think the consensus here and on other forums is that Lightroom is much better.

I like aperture better, but lightroom isn't bad. All depends on personal preferences.
