I've got a project I'm working on that's got over 1000 product images I need to create thumbnails for. They're all different sizes and aspect ratios. I've got a photoshop droplet setup right now that will "fit" the image to a 100x100 square (so depending on aspect ratio, either the width or height will be 100px). What I'd ideally like to do is force the image to a square thumbnail and just crop the excess, making all thumbnails the same ratio. I've seen this done before with css/js scripts. Anyone know how to do this through a photoshop action or have any other suggestions?
