Do you get tired in the afternoon? I want to hit the gym at 6:45am and be out by 8. I usually work from 8:30-7 and I'm worried I'm gonna fall asleep.:o

I do it mostly between 6-8 A.M. Get it out of the way, but if im doing a long run, I prefer to do that in the early afternoon. I feel I have more energy(probably due to the food I have already had)

And yeah, you do get used to getting tired in the evening at times

yeah, but then I eat plenty afterwards. I don't seem to have a lack of energy after eating a good shake or a good meal post workout.

I love working out in the morning (and night) but it takes a little time to get used to.

Me too. I love working out in the mornings, but it's so hot here even at 8am. I can't get up any earlier than that on the weekends so I have to go at night now.

"Ok....so remember to keep your back slightly arched. Visualize trying to stick out your butt. Hmmm... arch your back a little more. You got it. Yep... now stick your butt just out a little more. Yeah... that 's it. "

And can't argue with the elite lifters on how to spot properly...

I worked out early in the morning on one occasion (was in the gym at 6:30am) after sleeping 5 hours. You would think that I would have been exhausted all day, but working out in the morning actually helped me get through the day.

I worked out this morning in the hot south Florida sun. Big mistake...I think I'm going to die.
