Anyone work on Holly 4 Barrell carbs?

  5. is it super/turbo charged?

    That seems a bit much for a 302. I had a 650 on my 350 and it was enough :dunno:

    they put 750 on 302's z28 camaros

    650 isnt that much, im getting a 750 cfm for my 355

    650 is not too large for a Ford 302. The carb'd GT Mustangs from 1983-1985 used a 600CFM Motorcraft/Holley 4180. While the extra 50CFM is larger, any additional engine mods will greatly take advantage of the headroom. Even changing the cam in one of these motors, you have to adjust the carb very carefully to eliminate dead spots.

    Thats my problem right now. Ive gotta retune it. I just got a black notch and the it screams once I get to about 2500 rpm, but there is a huge flatspot off idle.
