    Hey, anyone that's used to .net or VB, please help!

    I am trying to get my labels to show a price, yet they are not pulling anything!

    First question.... i am sending these values from one of my forms to a module. Please look at my syntax to make sure that i am sending it correctly.

    Private Sub rdshin_aam_CheckedChanged(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles rdshin_aam.CheckedChanged

    'enable shin guards MaskBox
    MskShin_aam.Enabled = True
    'disable other TextBoxes

    MskBall_aam.Enabled = False
    MskGoal_aam.Enabled = False
    mskcleat_aam.Enabled = False

    'set focus in shin guards maskBox

    sPrice_aam = "5.0"
    imgProduct_aam = picshin_aam.Image
    sQty_aam = MskShin_aam.FormattedText
    sDesc_aam = "Shin Guards"
    End Sub

    alright then in the module its declared ...

    'set picture global var
    Public imgProduct_aam As Image
    'setting the price for the product
    Public sPrice_aam As String
    ' setting how many they bought
    Public sQty_aam As String
    ' set the item description
    Public sDesc_aam As String

    Finally when i go to pull them in the label much later on I use this syntax:

    lblFinal_aam.Text = (sPrice_aam * sQty_aam * 0.08)

    YET NOTHING COMES UP!!! Please help!!!!!! :wtc:

    You're multiplying a string by a number?

    I was trying to get the labels to multiply themselves, when in fact I should have been setting their values to a private dimm, and then pulling that value. THANKS though for the thoughts! :)
