I'm doing that msconfig thing and was wondering which one of the McAfee's do I uncheck. There are approximately 10 different ones that I could uncheck.

    Thanks

Exhibit A of why McAfee sucks. Imagine the resource drain.

    My suggestion:

    Start
    Control Panel
    Add and Remove Programs
    - Remove everything that may have anything to do with McAfee

Go get AVG if you want free or Norton if you want mainstream...

Yes it is better than mcafee and norton. Norton drains too much resources and it isn't the best antivirus program out also. Currently using AVG and loving it :)

I just signed up and downloaded AVG. I hope it works better than McAfee! :)
