Anyone with a time capesule?

    Does anyone have this yet? I need a mass storage device and was thinking about getting this instead.

    Time capsule is the new airport extreme with a built in hdd of 500gb or 1tb


    i haven't heard much about them, but i love my airport express and a 1tb drive is pretty sweet :noes:

    They aren't officially out yet. Website says they are shipping this month.

    :werd: Hasn't shipped yet as 10.5.2 will be needed for the wireless backup amongst other things.

    Yeah but unless you have a laptop with 802.11n you're gonna be looking at very slow backups (depending on the changes since the previous backup) and your wireless will grind to a halt (as it will with 802.11n also). Still a nice option to have (although you can set it up currently without the Time Capsule).

    Why will the wireless grind to a halt?

    I regularly transfer large quantities of data over wireless and it doesn't affect my other connections.
