With sales tax already paid, though? You are looking at about $5000 in sales tax at a 7% rate. Plus other fees.

Nah, he doesn't do that. He was one of the first to have a C6 Z06 when it came out, but opted to keep his GT2 instead. He sold the Z after a few hundred miles.

So he's going to pay for the buyer's sales tax when he registers the car? If he sells it to someone, they're going to have to pay sales tax again.

Depends on the state I do believe. Sales tax should only be paid one time as you don't have to pay sales tax on private sales between individuals. Now, if the title is in the name of a business, you do have to pay sales tax.

He sold his "Beast" GT2 (2002 model I think) last year. It was a hoss...about 750hp or something.

It's Cleve...you just have to know him. He's worse than Kdubb with cars at times.

What's he do for a living? Having a 90k car paid for in cash is a hell of an accomplishment, especially if he's a younger guy.

He's into a few things, but I know that he owns a few CarNutz car washes. He's in his late 30s I think...
