This is the second board I have tried. They both will shut off when I plug in the keyboard. After doing a little research there is apperently a problem with the PS2. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have one.. works fine for me (knocks on some high quality wood). What supply are you using and have you tried it with a minimal hardware configuration (ie just cpu, ram, video and nothing else)?
Also, some older keyboards exceed the maximum current that can be drawn from the ps/2 port. Have you tried other keyboards?

I usually run Gigabyte or Chaintech boards because of their low price and their performance, reliability, and features.

Gigabyte's GA-7DPXDW-P dual Socket A board is the most stable board I've ever used. A true workhorse, I love it. It also comes with everything you'd ever need.

I've built at least a dozen comptuers using the K8N Neo Platnium and K8N Neo 2 Platnium. I haven't noticed any problems. You may have a bad keyboard.

I finally got it to work. After I reformatted there hasn't been a problem.
