What are your opinions on it?

If you have sample pics even better.

Its either this lens or the Canon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5II USM.

Piece of shit man. Get the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L. It's an L lens so it is naturally better, by 4 times (which is how many times it is more expensive than the Tamron).

Heres a 1600% crop for you at f/2.8. LOOK HOW FUCKING SHARP THAT IS! :eek3:

Heres a resized one for the web, sharpened with USM to show you how good it is for sharing pictures with your friends. THIS IS AT f/2.8!!! I put a RED SQUARE around the portion that has been enlarged by 1600% above. (The D on Zumdahl!)

Here you go. I lost some detail saving the jpg, but you can see the fine detail that the lens captures even at 160000000%. This is a VERY good lens! :eek3:

It's my only lens. I don't like shooting at 2.8 because it's just not as sharp as between f/4.0-8.0.

Very happy, would buy from again!! A+++++++
