Really noisy, no good choice of lenses or flashes etc, blah blah blah.
Get Nikon or Canon
harder to find stuff for it and its more expensive when you do
Ive held it in my hands in the sony store, and well... its not as nice as the hype... i originally thought about buying one... glad I went Nikon
not so much. it shares the image sensor with the D200 and uses Konica Minolta lenses along with Sony lenses.
but Nikon or Canon are the two best choices IMO. Second to Hasselblad of course.
you know its the same sensors they use in Nikon right? And you can use Zeiss lenses, which trump L lenses, and all the old Minolta gear that was great for a long time.
Same sensor, yes, but the digital backend is completely different, and that is just as, if not more, important to the final outcome of the image.
I tried to use it and I found it very clumsy. I had no previous bias towards Canon, Nikon or Sony when it comes to layout, but the Nikon was by far the best in my hands.
