A&P Anyone use the lensbaby?

    Been thinking of getting one but not too many reviews are available. Anyone have any experience with it?

    looks to me that it attatches to your lens and you bend it around according to how you want the focus to be

    ya, it's kind of gimmicky, but kind of cool, i don't know if I'll (ever) dish out the money for one.

    Yes....but pretty much any scene could be done with a 3d renderer and enough time. What is your point?

    I think my favorite thing about the lensbaby and lensbabies.com is the similarity of these words to the letters in the word lesbian. Every time I see mention of lensbaby I get kind of excited then I realize it is just that stupid fucking camera thing.

    dont think it would take much time to do actually but i'd rather not try it.... it might make a good stocking stuffer for my photographerish buddies though

    it's pretty damn cool to play with, and a damn neat concept, but it looses its' thrill after a few days.

    what he said.

    a guy brought it out at a party one time (lol i worked for the college newspaper) and it was cool and fun and novel, but the guy had tilt-shift lenses and more and it was forgotten very quickly :o
